Nichlas has been in the sport of triathlon for more than 14 years and has worked as a coach for more than 10 years. Besides being the owner and a coach at Uperform, he is head coach at Hvidovre Triathlon Club. He also coaches at Brøndby Triathlon Club and Islev Triathlon Club, among others, when needed.

Nichlas has also served on the board of Triathlon Danmark and as a member of the DIF sports panel. As a coach, Nichlas cares about his athletes being dedicated while also having fun. Training should be adapted to the athlete's everyday life and not the other way around, so there is balance in both life and training.

Mathias Lyngsø Petersen

My name is Mathias Lyngsø Petersen and I was born in 1995. I have done triathlon since 2012, and since 2014 I have been part of first the Danish short-distance national team and later the long-distance national team. I am a 3x Danish champion over the half distance (2018–2019 and 2025), and since 2019 I have raced as a professional. In short, I am a product of the Danish Triathlon Federation's talent programme, through which I have gained a great deal of knowledge about triathlon and triathlon training. I have also gained a lot of experience through almost 8 years as a professional triathlete over both short and long distances. I am a strong believer in seeing the athlete as a whole and finding the right balance between everything triathlon-related and everything that isn't, because the overall picture is what creates great experiences – and with them, great results.

Mathias can currently take a maximum of 8 athletes, so places with him are limited. He only coaches athletes on the large coaching package.

Trine is highly motivated, so do contact her for a no-obligation chat about your training and your goals 👊

Asger Pedersen

My name is Asger. I have done triathlon for the past 3 years, but I have always done lots of different sports. I have tried most triathlon distances, from short to long, including IRONMAN Lanzarote and IRONMAN Copenhagen, and I have taken several top-3 finishes in races over both the full and half distance.
In my day job I work at Club La Santa, one of Europe's largest sports resorts, where I have been for the past 2 years. There I have had the pleasure of training with everyone from professional athletes to everyday recreational athletes. These experiences have given me a good understanding of what it takes to reach different goals and create a good balance in training.

It is not many years since I started in the sport myself, so I clearly remember what it is like to be completely new, a bit confused and trying to work out what matters in training and what you need to have in place ahead of a race.

For me, the most important thing about training is the joy of moving while challenging yourself – whether it is about pace or distance. Training should bring joy to everyday life, not take the joy out of it.

Adam Powers

Adam Powers is a former elite swimmer with several top finishes as an age-group, junior and senior swimmer. He started triathlon in 2012 and has since completed 13 Ironmans – including 2 World Championships (St. George and Nice), New Zealand, Florida and Roth – plus a host of shorter races.

Adam coaches regularly at Brøndby Triathlon and has helped many athletes improve their swimming.

In his day job, Adam is self-employed in the pensions and financial markets, where he works extensively with education, teaching and training of employees in pension companies and banks.

Adam takes teaching very seriously. He places great emphasis on the fact that everyone is different and can therefore have different needs and different ways of learning and understanding things. This is especially true in triathlon – and particularly when it comes to swimming.

Jacob Lind Knudsen

My name is Jacob. I have done sport all my life and spent my teenage years doing gymnastics at elite level, while also coaching both gymnastics and parkour.

For the past 4 years I have done triathlon, going from complete beginner to racing as a professional from the 2026 season. I have won several IRONMANs in my age group and have a top-20 overall finish at the IRONMAN World Championship.

Alongside the sport, I am finishing my master's degree at DTU (Technical University of Denmark) – a combination that has given me a deep understanding of the importance of finding balance in everyday life. I love digging into the details and understanding the mechanisms that drive development. My academic background gives me an analytical starting point, but I always keep the big picture in focus.

Every athlete is different and has unique dreams. I take pride in meeting each athlete where they are, so together we can create the best conditions for you to reach your goals.

Thomas Nielsen

My name is Thomas Nielsen and I have done triathlon since 2018. When I started, I focused mainly on short-distance triathlon, and I have been part of the Danish short-distance national team. I am also a two-time Danish champion in Mixed Relay (2024 and 2025).

In recent years I have worked purposefully towards competing at a high level in middle- and long-distance triathlon. My own triathlon journey has taught me that consistency, structure and patience matter far more than quick fixes – experience I bring into my coaching.

I believe the best training is the training that fits the individual athlete. Whether your goal is to finish your first triathlon, set a personal best or perform at a high level, training should be adapted to everyday life and not the other way around.

That is why I place great emphasis on dialogue, individual planning and a realistic balance between training, work, studies and family life. As a coach, I don't just want to help you get faster – I also want to give you a better understanding of your training, so you keep developing in the long term. I value good communication, sparring and close collaboration, where we work towards your goals together.
Thomas has room for a maximum of 10 athletes, so places with him are limited.

Patrik Nilsson

My name is Patrik Nilsson and I am Swedish. I have competed in triathlon since 2011/2012, and before that I came from swimming and athletics. Training has always been a fundamental part of my life, which is probably why I found triathlon – with its different disciplines and variety – as the sport I have practised for the past 10 years. I got a taste for more when I won the Swedish middle-distance championship in 2012. I have raced professionally since 2013, won my first international Ironman in 2014, and since 2017 I have raced for Terrible Tuesday Triathlon Club in Sweden and the BMC Pro Triathlon Team internationally. From my 10 years in professional triathlon – and swimming and athletics before that – I have built a solid base of knowledge, insight and experience that I want to pass on. I have learned from the best coaches and athletes about training philosophy, setbacks, successes and what it takes to develop in triathlon and in endurance sport in general. I am passionate about seeing personal development and a collaboration that takes my athletes' mindset, self-belief and fitness to a new level.
